A King and a Knight show up in a tarot reading and…

It’s been really groovy to take a week off in between blog posts. This blog still mostly for myself but I do enjoy hearing feedback from fellow providers and clients alike. I love sharing this intimate part of my interests with you all! And I really love hearing that it helps and resonates!

I wanted to pull two cards today because sometimes two is more telling than one. I first pulled the King of Swords—cutting through the bullshit and Knight of Cups—giving from the heart. I love how these two balance each other out with the theme of the spectrum of BOUNDARIES.

These two cards tell me a few things. With our King we must lean into the trustworthy side of our intuition, that our personal analysis of our experiences, situations, and information is vital; and that we should trust our voice, our gut, and our boundaries. Inspect, and look for resolve in logic and decisiveness. Our Knight is showcasing what beauty and creativity is at our fingertips when we use the strength from our assured (King of Swords) voice. That with boundaries and assertiveness comes time and space to appreciate our connectedness to all the beautiful things in our lives. AND vice versa! When we allow room for softness and sensitivity we are given windows into what we really need, to create guidelines and limits (and challenges to our limits) for us so we may reach towards our best selves. This is a gift to us and to our communities. When in doubt, lean into your feelings and allow yourself to find out what you’re really capable of.
